With a busy schedule hosting hit reality TV show The Voice, and making time to record his own music with popular band Maroon 5, Adam Levine's Hollywood home is an oasis for him to relax in. In spite of his rock star edge, Levine, with help from his interior design pal Mark Haddawy, showcases his eye for color and style in his California bachelor pad.
Levine recently took time out of his hectic life to spill some home design secrets with Architectural Digest. In the magazine, he even compares interior decorating to making music, since both his home and his hit songs reflect his personality.
- Original décor: To create a one-of-kind look, Levine has included numerous accessories in his home that are tailored to his liking. For instance, a concrete-cast paw print from his golden retriever Frankie is displayed on his terrace. Furthermore, Levine, an avid art fan, showcases work from Jean-Michel Basquiat, Shepard Fairey, Mark Seliger, and Andy Warhol.
- Window fashions: One of Levine's favorite home features is his dark velvet drapes, reflecting the feel of old school rock-and-roll. In addition to contributing to the design aesthetic of his bedroom, Levine also credits his stylish window coverings to him getting a good night's sleep. "My job means I work late," Levine tells the magazine. "These [curtains] ensure I get some sleep."
