Spring is finally in the air, proven by the color choice of many starlets at last night's Met Gala, the annual star-studded ball hosted by Vogue Editor in Chief Anna Wintour. Many actresses opted for shades of pink to symbolize the new season.
Some stars, like Rachel MacAdams, chose light neutrals. The red-headed beauty stunned in a simple dusty rose-hued gown.
"The 35-year-old actress looked picture perfect in a pale pink Ralph Lauren gown," writes Dana Oliver of the Huffington Post. "The simple strapless dress worked well with her milky complexion, strawberry blonde hair color and raspberry lipstick. While most of the Met Gala attendees showed up in extravagant black and white designs (yeah, we're talking about you SJP), McAdams stood out in this understated number."
Others opted for a bit more vibrancy. America's sweetheart Reese Witherspoon wowed in a glamorous magenta Stella McCartney number. Emma Stone also proved that bright pink is red hot. The "The Amazing Spiderman" star paired a bubble gum pink crop top with a magenta skirt for a fun and youthful vibe. To see more of last night's looks, click here
